Poetry

Long ago, I didn’t notice you
I  never give you too much importance
You’re just nothing to me
I woke up one day, seeing your significance

You’ve been living for far too long
You never aged, forever young
Handling emotions mindfully
You feed people’s heart, singing a song

You don’t have a face
But people still love you
Your greatness is known around the globe
You taste like honeydew

We will leave someday
But you will remain
Dispersing your wisdom
Which the world will refrain
