Uncaring Fate

Slender beams of moonlight
this darkened prison as I kneel,
always a servant,
always isolated,
always frozen here,
waiting.

tortured forms wrought in panes of glass loom
as dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
piercing my naked flesh.

tears on my face.

I raise  my head,
now crying out for this uncaring  fate.
